I was thinking of naming this as "Mucha Mai" 'coz it was supposed to be a tribute to Alphonse Mucha using Mai Shiranui as the subject matter. But no. It kinda sounds tacky.

I should be doing something else right now, but I just had to see this finished. It was relatively fast (for me, at least), but it took too long for a fanart to finish. Roughly 4 days, on and off whenever I get free time. :)

Hope you guys like it.

-99% Illustrator 10
-1% Photoshop (Photoshop was used here to make raster images of the texture in mai's clothing 'coz raster images warp better. )

Mai Shiranui is copyright SNK. (I guess.)

edit 04/23/05 3PM: Fixed her shadow a bit. :) Thanks to for that.

edit 04/24/05 12pm: Removed Neutral greys from the piece. Thanks to arenhaus (from gfxartist) for the crit. :)
